Passage East helps save 24 greyhounds:
As seen in Wilton Bulletin & Norwalk Hour
Wilton, CT, May 11, 2005--Passage East Kennels, a fixture in the Wilton business community since 1967 will be donating over $35,000 worth of boarding services to this important cause. By partnering with REGAP (Retired Greyhounds As Pets) of CT located in Bethany, CT, Passage East will board these gentle dogs while REGAP of CT, Inc. finds them homes. "A dream come true", is what REGAP president Eileen McCaughern had to say about Passage East stepping in and offering their services. REGAP has been working for more than 30 years to educate the public on the benefits of owning a retired racing greyhound. "As passionate animal lovers, we were inspired by the actions of the Governor, and are looking forward to helping these dogs in any way we can," said Passage East manager A.J. Lucas. |
